I wonder if when its done you can entice Gaynor to come and do another shoot with it? According to google shes only 42... i could try but wouldn't know how to found her and i am sure she would not forget a 350lc surely I bet shes still with an agency as she has/had a film career so probably still has management.

Curly Wurlys are the LC currency. You could try tempting her with a few of those...

Hmm, I always worry that a hose that sticks out could catch on something, so to my eyes its not ideal.
Otherwise its coming along very nicely!

Didn't realise the original header tank bracket was still on the frame, so that's a right result for re attaching the tank And I've had the same headlight brackets on different bikes in the past - they look upside down to me, but can obviously mount either way, so whatever floats yer boat ! Looking great. Dusty

The last bike I had recently that had those headlight brackets was my 430e. They were a very common aftermarket option back in the day, and virtually all the ones I used to see were mounted this way up; 20200816_092249 by dusty miller, on Flickr But, they were work equally as well either way and other components may mean having them bolted high to drop the headlight lower, hence "upside down". Very much a period aftermarket part, and still look good today Dusty

As for the rubber, would it be possible to cut 2 parallel smaller strips, so all the rubber is hidden? Great work, following with interest, cheers, Mark
