Hi everyone , well!! I've got a LC !!! Well bits of one π€£but it's a LC ,long story short it was in with the PV s my brother brought ,it's a 350 4LO German frame ,set of 350 wheels ,some crazy seat unit a good tank and a nice set of stock LC pipes .. Also a 250 LC engine which looks in nice condition! I was on edge as it didn't come with a nova ,it's been in the UK since 2011 so before nova and been sat in the guys shed ever since! But it dose have lots of German paperwork ,log book etc and the receipt of when the guy brought it into the UK , I called HMRC and explained this they said send a letter with copy's of the German paperwork etc and where it's been since 2011 ,so I did that and two weeks later I've got a nova number !! It was simple I can't believe it really I'm so pleased as I can now start the build . Plan ! I've got some 350 barrels and head and I'm going to hybrid it ,I have got a fzr 400 swinger ,wheel spindles on the way it's already been modified to fit a LC frame and I got it for a real good price so going to play with that and see where it goes really !! Going to be a slow build as I want the air-cooled finished , and the LC is going to cost !!! π€£Can think of worse ways to spend it !! Few pictures ππ

Hi everyone ,I've been sorting the running gear for the LC ,!! I've been chatting to Martin Johnson and he had a fzr 400 swinger ,wheel , calliper , bracket spindle , spacer's and it came out of a LC ! one of his mates bike so it's been modded to fit between the LC frame , so that makes life bit easier!! That LC ran with a linkage but I'm going to fabricate and weld on a bracket to take the LC shock in its stock form !! Front end I got of Facebook market place fzr 400 , forks , yokes , wheel, mudguard, clip ons (don't need them) all in good condition ,will need rebuilding ,painting etc. I was going to chill out for a bit and get the air cooled finished ( nearly is) but I can't help it looking for bits π€£LC will be rolling soon ! Using the fzr forks it will keep the look of a LC witch I like I will have to cut the forks Down and re thread them like I did on my air-cooled tzr forks as they will be to long . It will keep my brain busy !! Chris

Hi Chris, Could you make an adjustable set up, like on the aircooled frame ? Gives you options for the future I'm sure someone with an Lc will take a measurement for you - say from wheel spindle to bolt holt at end of frame, so you know what the standard dimensions are. I have always jacked my Lc's up a bit at the back, especially when using a 17" rear wheel. Dusty

If it's not to much hassle, thank you

Hi everyone!! Been working out how to get the fzr yokes in the LC frame ! Well I've got a f2 bottom yoke and stem and the bearing size (I'd) is the same so tommrow at work I'm going to press the stems out and press and weld the f2 stem into the fzr bottom yoke .the fzr top yoke also fits snug into the f2 stem so it should be straightforward really and then fit nicely in the LC I can then get the front end In. Second picture is the fzr top yoke sitting on the f2 stem fits a treat ππChris

I was tidying up my spare parts I had lying around and got bored. I was curious about some different Yamaha forks I so tried to fit them in a LC frame. The R1 yokes fitted directly into the headstock. You just need to use a bottom yoke bearing on the top.

I thought pv stem was same length as LC and they just swap over? Is the bottom yoke you are fitting thicker than LC/pv? Could be that more stem is in the yoke than if in PV one?
