Evening folks, I need to fit a new headlight - the new plastic holder has one hole for the loom to come in, the old one looks like someone may have cut another on the top in addition so it has two. Top one with cables in from the ignition switch and out to the clocks, bottom one loom coming in. Should there only be one hole for all wiring in and out? thanks...

You can cut the other hole if you have the kind with only one. I used a hole saw on one of mine.

It seems the last owner dispensed with the small bulb that I imagine is the parking light, can anyone tell me what coloured wires of the loom I am looking for to re-fit this. I have a few unused connectors in the headlamp holder?

Yeah you need to use a hole saw to make a new hole. Masking tape, mark it up from your old one cut the hole, job done. 👍
