Been reading this and havent commented due to not knowing what to say
Mental illness is a terrible RECURRING thing
It's different if you really love someone and have a lot of history then it's totally understandable that you want to support and help them as much as you can
If this is quite a new not so serious relationship then move on treating this like a lucky escape
It might be the tip of the iceberg and it could in other circumstances have cost your life
Material things lost are upsetting but not the most important
Keep your chin up and try to move forward
Steve

Thanks lads. Sadly my mum has had mental issues all through her life so I am fairly well coped to deal with this but it still came right out of the blue. Yes Dusty I know what services and I will phone plod in a mo to see if they bothered to go there. Hell I even know the exact time she got there. Still clearing up the mess here and discovering more things missing.
I have to say this forum and even the A/C one have been like a rock.
Thanks again everyone

Just sent her a text asking to reply to my other messages by noon tomorrow or the police will be called (she knows nothing of the forensics etc). Amazingly I got an instant reply.
(sic) I have no idea what you are talking about. Please leave me alone I will go to the police myself.
My response was...they have your fingerprint on a bass you threw on the ground...
And that was that. Going to go to the local cop shop tomorrow to see wtf they are doing about this, if anything...

Cheers Dave. It's actually worked out for the best. She has fled to the US, found out she's also wanted in Sussex for various things. A shared friend has all her stuff in storage...and now I have it lol. If she wants it back, and I kinda doubt it, she has to see me (and plod as she'd be arrested at passport control). All her gear is worth a damn sight more than what she owes me.
Apple watch MK3 anyone?

Alex make sure it doesn’t belong to someone else that she has had over, last thing you need is handling stolen goods.

It's all ok matey I know her stuff and this is all hers. Even got receipts for a ton of stuff. I will hang onto it for a while just in case but what with a new client and a new hybrid build to do for him I'm finally doing well!
Alex
ps thanks for your concern, most appreciated
