Nothing was spotted at Rufforth last Saturday as far as I'm aware - I didn't go but asked a couple of friends to keep an eye out and take photos if they spotted anything.

Thieving B******s...I'm up in North East Scotland so will keep a look out as there's not too many LC's up here & bikes/parts like that would really stand out.Hopefully Norbo will get some info back soon.Shame we don't have a bit of Saudi Law,the F*****S would have a job riding nicked bikes with no hands.

Another thought Norbo - is it worth an email with the pics of the bikes to Practical Sportsbike magazine ? I know Jim Moore is a big Lc fan, and I know you have helped him out with features in the past, so he may be willing to put an article in the next magazine - I've seen mags do it in the past. The next mag is due next week so you'll miss that one but the first issue in the new year will help revive interest if you haven't located them by then. Bike theft is a real problem for all bikers, regardless of what they ride, so it would be a relevant inclusion in the mag. Fingers crossed they are found before then. Dusty

Hey Norbo
I’ve only just come across this thread, sorry, really am gutted for you and Steve
No doubt it has been said before, send pictures to every motorcycle mag, club, forum, someone will know someone who knows or has heard something
I really hope you find the low life’s that did this, I do hope it’s no one on here, that would be the lowest act
Good luck
Howard

Hi Norbo and Steve Any news fellas ? Any positive leads or info as to where the bikes are or what happened to them ? We need to keep bumping this thread up to keep it fresh in our minds, and also so any new members can see it easily. I hope there is some more positive news soon for you both.

Firstly I'd like to say I'm gutted for Norbo......you cannot replace such a unique machine..... THIS IS NOT A PROMO BUT AN OFFER TO FORUM USERS we run a security business in Chepstow selling all major brands of alarm, cctv, boundary ,fire and safe systems........ For about 5 years I have worked with the motocross world and have supplied a system using straight forward wireless system with such success, Avon and Somerset Police contacted me to advise that by supplying owners with a siren that is so loud ( will pop ear drums), owners could be sued by thieves - of course I laughed back and said due you really think anyone gives a toss about them 👍🏼 The siren can be heard a mile away and will prompt thieves to leave immediately ( not saying they won't return with ear defenders but at least they will be stopped this time) Last year a customer from Cardiff had his RD500 hauled from the back of his garage over the TOPof his MGBT wrecking car as well.....we supplied the below kit. All I can say is checkout the kit below...simple to install and will supply 12vdc to klaxon siren....over the last years we've probably Sold over 1000 of this set up....nothing beats map-security.com/dakota-dcma-2500e-wireless-external-driveway-long-range-alarm-system..htmlAnd siren map-security.com/universal-telephone-dialler-works-with-all-alert-systems-utd1-clone.htmlPlease feel free to phone or pop in for a brew and I'll do my best to make a system best suited and to give give something back To give something back to the forum I'll give £20 back To the for every sale over £200 Thx Max 01291 421111
