My petrol tank has been sealed with white stuff which is pealing off. How do I go about getting it out of the tank and doing it again.

depends what it is really i had mine done by someone who fooked it right up they used petseal , found this out when bike would only go 40 mph not rev looked in tank too find it like sheets of cellotape used old petrol & small nuts took an afternoon too get it out , then did it myself took my time used por 15 note too self if you want a job done properly on my bike do it yourself & speak too the lads on here

Just looked at the kreem it looks like the white stuff in my tank. So how do I get it out.

Try filling with cheap gun wash thinners and leaving for a few days to see what happens, obviously it was sealed for a reason' if it was a leak be careful where you leave it, just in case it starts leaking again!!

You can buy 5L of dichloromethane (the active ingredient in old paintstripper) for 11 quid on ebay.
Surely that will shift it

I never finished stripping mine fully, still needs doing I can tell you that Acetone doesn't touch it in the slightest.

Surely that will shift it Steve if your going to use Dichloromethane you might want to invest in a good pair of rubber gloves and a mask. depending on the concentrate this stuff is lethal. we in the powder coat industry use the neat form of this at work daily for removing powder coat and paint, you will be surprised what else it will remove when it gets on your skin
