I thought it was great , pity Marquez and Lorenzo wont even look at Rossi , never mind shake hands . It's the other way round buddy, Rossi wants to prolong the hatred because it fuels him and his horrible hordes. Look at the Austin podium, 3 riders showing genuine enjoyment and laughing and joking together. Put Rossi on the podium and a dark cloud descends over the sport. As for the booing he's disgusting, Gavin Emmett asked the riders how they felt about it, Marquez said "it isn't nice, especially as we're putting our lives on the line for the show", Lorenzo said "one person could speak out and stop it but he won't", Rossi shrugged his shoulders and said "booing?, I don't know nothing about it". That's the measure of the man who portrays himself as the fun loving friendly character, always smiling for the camera. He's a fraud and a cold and calculating man with no regard for anyone who gets in his way, how can he sit in front of the cameras and deny all knowledge? He's a great rider don't get me wrong, but he's far from the image he presents to his fans. No one expects MotoGP to be happy peace and love, but a public request from Rossi could put an end to most of the fans' misbehaviour. Then he accepts Marquez' handshake and the sport can at least have grudging respect instead of the flat out hatred that exists now. All I want to see is some good racing and no stupid mind games played. It would be nice to see the Ducati boys win a race or two too, just to break up the foursome who always win. At the end of the day I like to see Yamaha win most and would happily cheer Rossi if he takes the title, by doing his talking on the track, respecting the others, and not demanding special treatment from Yamaha now Lorenzo's leaving. Lorenzo has a contract until the end of the season/year, I'd like to see Rossi respect that and genuinely take Lorenzo's title from him on a totally level playing field, that would be the mark of a champion, not the people's champion bullshit that the custard clowns chanted at every opportunity last season.

Let the racing do the talking, lets have different winners
If VR46 is good enough he will win it, if not, he as to accept that the other riders are better than he at the present time, yes he has won a lot of titles and the 10th would be some achievement that no one can dispute, that said it has to be on a level playing field
Whether or not Lorenzo will get the any new updates will remain to be seen as he is going to Ducati
Unfortunately the mind games are now part and parcel of sport in general and not just confined to motorcycle racing, the gentleman's racing has long gone
As you say lets have good close and fair racing
I watch it for the spectacle, skill and technology, yes I've always been a Honda fan, my first 3 were Hondas, that said its good to see Suzuki and Ducati and now Yamaha in recent years become competitive again
Now we have Aprilia in the mix and maybe possibly BMW in the future we just don't have 2 brands dominating

On a better bike Laverty would do well. Perhaps taking on the Honda if Pedrose jumps to Yamaha
Take Lorenzo away from the race track and he is actually very engaging and humerous though

7th to 2nd yeah. 7th isn't that many feet back from pole and they all start at same time. Plus he could always qualify better if that's this week's excuse

I think that's the best comparison, taking out the different manufacturers and team's handling difficulties on the reportedly slippery surface. ?

Stonking last lap . A pity Rossi's bike shit a plank , he was all over Lorenzo like a rash . It would've been a better race with Rossi in it , but hey , that's bikes for you. Some fantastic racing in the Moto 2 and 3 . Roll on Sunday fortnight , I can't wait!!

I think we can all appreciate what would have happened if Rossi's bike hadn't shit itself. He was all over Lorenzo and would have made an exciting last few laps more exciting. Loads of logistics involved but, after all, pole is pole. Once more "COME ON ROSSI VR46 FTW!!!!"

It was a shame that it robbed us of a good finish but the race itself was really good. Marc rode the wheels off the Honda and was unlucky not to get it.
Rossi has had some good luck this year, I guess as so often happens in racing you always get a bit of bad as well.
The boo's during the podium are just awful, the riders put on a good show and its a shame Rossi isnt grown up enough to put an end to it by burying the hatchett.

Reckon jorge would have done rossi too had he had been there It looked to me that Lorenzo was holding Rossi up . (Have to admit , I did have a little laugh when Lorenzo's bike blew up earlier in the day . What goes around comes around eh ? ) . I'm sure Rossi would've left Jorge in his dust if not for the mechanical misfortunes . I wonder did someone put too much oil in ??

Absolutely f**king disgusting........................... Anyone who stays silent when their fans engage in activities likes this....well it speaks volumes about them.............. I hope they are persuaded by whom concerned, that this behaviour is not within the best interests of the sport, a sport where people are actually maimed and killed.
You will NOT hear any repeats of this behaviour at the TT podium............a REAL motorcycle race meeting followed by REAL enthusiasts.
