Blimey This is ridiculous!. It's already had 11 bids up to £140.00. Are they daft? Norbo does them for £49.00!

The item for sale on ebay is an original & long since discontinued 4L0 item not the later 4L3 which is available from any Yamaha spares department.
To most there is no real difference but to someone building an "as it left the factory" rebuild it is an essential item as the auction price reflects.

What are Norbo's? Are they the 4L3 items? They are 4L3 items, which have Jap script at the bottom of the centre bezel, also have "tailligbt" next to "oil" OEB

Cheers OEB. That would explain it then as you say. Interesting to see what it eventually sells for.

I hate to sound like a troll but I can't believe the number of people who don't realise this is a rare part. Not many lc anoraks issued these days by the looks of it? Please do your homework before posting.

Rare item or not. Buy a 4L3 one off norbs and replace the "window" with one without the extra writing on the bottom. (how much norbs?) Its a f***ing piece of plastic. Not a set of barrels or unavailable oem pistons.

Is it just me or is there something slightly anal about green bolt resto's.lc's were built to be ridden and modified to the owners spec. I think each to their own - personally I like to ride my LC and am not fussed about originality but if someone wants to have a completely original LC with all the green bolts then that's fine by me too. it's good that we keep these bikes going in whatever guise - arguing amongst ourselves as to which is better is completely pointless. Nothing wrong with friendly banter though!!

Not an argument bud only an opinion that I think is driving up prices. I have a mate thats done a green bolt resto about 4 years ago cost 4 and a half grand lovely bike but my wheelbarrow h as done more miles than it.:-)
