Stripped one engine, now it's time to rebuild another. Make sure you fit the crank seal the correct way round when you rebuild. OEB

Pulled the oil pump off to see why the left line keeps feeding oil after its turned off. Had a few grains of sand in it. Cleaned them out and still leaking. Oh the pain.

Sanded back the paint on my 10w swingarm only to discover that some gobshite has isoponed over two big rust holes previously. Then spent the next two hours trying to find my bearings to fit the forks to the frame. Alas I've lost them, that's a £60 mistake.

in the on-going impulsive, indifference to published advice, somewhat ignorant and partially masochistic quest to remove the 6,000 flat spot from the '81 I purchased a Boost Bottle only to find that things that fit Banshees don't always fit the real motorcycle version- them tubes is too wide. I do my best to ignore the reddevilbodger inside of me- "go on- just drill out them holes on your rare OEM never-touched reed block rubbers with...a big fat drill bit that.....looks big enough" idiot.

Hi fellows. I spent yesterday on trying to sort out my frame. Bought the bike as a project, but didnt ask seller if the braces where intact - i will never forget to ask about that again. But luckily alot of members have been helpfull so now there could be a solution. Thanks guys
