Started to rebuild engine and put new studs in barrels but found out another bodge on them so looks like off to engineering firm to have them welded up and redrilled once they get the snapped stud out that was left in and new one was pinned and e metal in place thanks Shane rudge 👎

I've been riding mine It’s freezing your mad! And I’m a tiny bit jealous, however I’m not responsible enough to ride in the cold weather as it always ends up getting very scary!

Went for a 200km ride out with a few mates via the beautiful Hawkesbury River, across on the Wiseman’s Ferry, down through Berowra Waters and back up to the Central Coast via the Old Pacific Highway. We are so lucky to have such great roads on our doorstep, just a shame we picked the hottest day of the year to do it! 😅

Yup, doing about 100 plus on motorway, almost shat myself. Not sure why but looks like right hand cylinder let go. Oh well something to do over the rest of winter

It's good your ok, the rest is metal and plastic and a lot of blood sweat and swearing It could be the cold weather making the bike run leaner.

got the engine out....on a DustyStand no less. Took the clutch off....(took the purchase of a rattle gun to do it)...the order of plates and plates and yet more plates followed by a seemingly random order and number of rubber seals is overwhelming. Luckily I think Dusty has a thread on it otherwise I'd be screwed. Went to bed a little concerned. The likelihood of me being able to put it all back together and start first kick- it's an effing long shot. But I'll try to embody the spirit of Tony Scott rather than that of the South Texas gentleman in the Banshee YouTubes....actually I take that back...Mr Banshee means well and I am 100% certain some seconds of those will be useful to me at some point.....

Rebuilt the right hand side after replacing the water pump tube o ring that let go, threw in some new clutch plates whilst there, then spent a few hours polishing the side cases and boost bottle, looked like I just surfaced from a mine when I'd finished, Jesus how much black crap gets everywhere, the walls and car cover are splattered in the stuff, strands of wheel everywhere, I need to knock up some type of. shield before my next go to limit the fly off .
Cases came up lovely mind .......

took a break from the engine and worked on the calipers to make sure I didn't need to add new pistons to the shopping list.....found they are in actually great nick...calipers still slid left to right but I'm renewing the seals anyway so took them apart for a clean. Dunlop K291S...they don't make them anyone more....they're very tall...hmm...no mudguard......looks....yeah, no.

Whipped the back wheel out ready to fit new brake shoes. Bearings feel a bit rough.
