Hi ,i was out on my lc 250 the other day when it started running on 1 cylinder ,i got home and left the bike idling every 3 to 4 seconds the left hand cylinder would fire but now it is gone alto gether ,it has new iridium plugs and the carbs are clean,the battery is not great but lights etc are fine ,help please

I would agree most people recommend the NGK's and pan the Iridium ones.

Started the bike today,the left cylinder has a grey oily substance ot the exhaust outlet and when i rev the bike the exhaust gas is a lot cooler from this exhaust,is this a sign of water getting in to the cylinder.by the way the compression is 90 psi in each cylinder is this low

Check your oil via dipstick.Is that the same grey colour if so this would indicate water in the oil and may be a crank seal gone.

the compression is 90 psi in each cylinder is this low Yes, should be about 120ish. OEB
