Just stripped and repainted mine did it over 2 weekends, hardest part was getting all the paint off. Spend some money on some decent thin masking tape to do the spokes. When washing the stripper off make sure the water doesn't enter the bearing's lesson learnt

I'll echo the advice too, have a go yourself. It's really quite simple, I'm sure you'll be happy with the finish. My first ever attempt I've only ever used PJ1satin but that's because 2 bike shops near me sell it, I've never tried the BBQ paint but probably will next time.

may sound daft but i used blu tak to mask the spokes and trimmed the excess with a blade......just roll the blu tak into long worms and slap it on the spoke and trim......works a treat...

use normal masking tape for spokes, then just run a sharp scalpal knife along the edges to trim off, alot quicker than trying to mask off in one go !!
