Hi, anyone seen the crossover pipes on fleabay, not a bad price, but would anyone know from the pics if they are hand made (as in, knocked up at home) They don't seem to have that 'professional' look about them, but thay are quite a good price.
I've got a few Japanese RD/RZ books etc, and they are quite common on the motherland, they look a bit like R1-Z pipes.

Hi I don't mean to sound funny but can you explain what you mean by that professional look and knocked up at home I don't think that it matters where the are made as long as they perform well isn't that the idea behind buying a set of performance pipes more power not just these are going to be great cos they are built in a huge factory with a pretty sign outside probably by someone who has no interest in how they perform on the bike or fit all he is bothered about is is pay packet at the end of the week, where as someone like me and many others take pride in what we build to make sure you get what it says on the tin true Performance for less ££ in our small workshops /sheds at home Mick

They look real nice . but i cant see them giving any more power then several pipes you can get in the uk but on the looks i think they are grate . and all pipes are hand made arnt they wither they be made in a unit or gararge . so long as the look good and performe i dont care by who or where they are made.
But i like bely pans on lc's so would be a bit of a wast on me one of these

Hi I think some of you are getting crossed wores with the ones I was talking about. Mick, wasn't expecting the pipes that are manufactured to be better than those designed specifically for power, but by 'home made' i meant taking short cuts and doing away with the number of'bends' for want of a better word, and long tapered cones where more would look more 'professional' saves on cutting, something a home welder would probably not have access to and would have to be done with tinsnips etc These are the pipes I meant, let me know what you think??? cgi.ebay.co.uk/Yamaha-race-exhausts-RD350LC-YPVS-RD350-4L0-TZR250-/290539046827?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item43a57a07ab
