i was wondering what you were on about but your right, a 130 year old bike ;D, ive been comparing parts just by sight and so far they look the same, i really hope they are because when i 1st got my xj special, not even the local dealer could get me the right parts. it took a fellow from america to get me the right parts. i couldnt even get a clutch cable of the shelf over here.

g'day mate, another Aussie based RD/RZ nut here I remember your bike when t was on the the big bad bay a few weeks back, good find i reckon. Yep 5E0 is a 4L0 for 99% of the parts, only a few things were done differently for Aus. As Norbo says, he sells to a few of us downunder with no hassles. Welcome aboard!

Check the back of the parts books (easily found online) and you will see some of the pages at the back have the different market variations, Im pretty positive the Aussie 5E0 is basically the 4L0 with just some odd bits n bobs like reflectors and of course KM speedo etc etc. Some years and some bikes can be quite different with things like clocks having rev counters or just lights and the USA has smog stuff. Its all usually at the back of the standard parts books on older bikes like we like.
