put new clucth in my 4lo a couple months ago but only got out this evening for a blast on it .its fine and seleccting gears no slip ect.only thing is that clucth needs to be ajusted caus if i pull clucth lever in about 2-3mm it slips the clucth. i know i can ajust at bar but the lever is real sloppy then and loose as f**k. is there a way of ajusting clucth first from below at case and last bit at handle bar to keep everything nice n tight? am using pattern cable and lever which is prob not helping but anyway any help greatly appreciated...........

1st thing to do is make sure the adjuster on the leaver is screwed right in. the clutch is adjusted behind the round cover on the sprocket cover. behind it is a screw and locknut. loosen locknut and wind the screw in until you feel it touch the pushrod, then back it off a tad so it is not quite touching the tighten up locknut and adjust free play at the leaver end. thats about it realy.

hold the screw with a screwdriver while you are trying to undo the locknut, bit tricky but if you use a ring spanner its not to bad.
