When used with an LC tank this MUST be blanked off or you will draw in air resulting in a weak mixture. OEB

as OEB says m8 that needs blanking off and the extra water pipe comin from the pv head, well mine was just blanked off then read somewhere that u should'nt do this so was advised to "T" it into the small hose going from the top of the lc rad to the water expasion bottle

i did mine as scott says but it ended up filling the expansion bottle so i drilled a hole in the rad and used an old bicycle valve bolted each side of the rad to hold and connected the pipe as in the pic this is the only pic i have of it done just happens to have the mrs sitting on it

I blank the water pipe off & drill a 3mm hole in the thermostat, it's only purpose in life is to allow a little expansion of the water, as it warms up, but before the stat opens.
