Had to split my rear caliper to get the seized pistons out the other day. Cleaned everything up and refitted old seals with rubber grease as everything looked OK, the two caliper half seals didn't look too clever, but cleaned them up the best i could. Tried bleeding it tonight, but seams to be sucking in air from somewhere, can't get a hard pedal . Can you still get the two seals that fit between the two halves of the caliper ?.

Dont think Yamaha ever sold those seals separately but Suzuki do P/N 69107-34200 OEB

Thank you O "Wise Ones" for your guidance. Young "Grasshopper" has much to learn about the world of the "LC". Will re-strip, but this time without 6 cans of John Smith's washing around in my stomach. Going to look at the bleed nipple too, as it had to be locked off fairly tight before it stopped the flow - thinking about it now, if it was the half seals, i would expect fluid weeping out, or was that just me when i couldn't get a pedal. Next step re-strip and inspect again - cheers chaps.

Well stripped my caliper down and the new seals are too small . new ones are 11.5mm O/D, 6.5mm I/D & 2.2mm thick. LC11 early type rear caliper type are 13.5mm O/D, 8.5mm I/D & 2.2mm thick. Maybe the Suzuki P/N oldelsieboy gave are for the later type caliper . Cleaned everything up and again and re-assembled and have now got a pedal , a little spongy, but I'm hoping thats down to the new pads and disc .
