my rad on the rd has just starting leaking a few drops , just wondered if anyone has had the same bother in the past and tryed a bottle of rad weld? or does anyone know if its ok to use on a two stroke coolant system? or should i not risk trying it? and try and find another rad? any help would be gratefull! cheers bubba

this stuff is realy good for a quick fix,a friend of mine bodged a k-series rover and a old omega both with leaking head gasgets with this stuff and both cars lasted atleast 2 years before getting scrapped ;D on a more serious note these type of products are only a "quick fix" and only ideal as short term repair realy

Im with you on this Gary. Ive used the Radweld before and its just a bodge. if you can pin point the leak and its a stone chip then get it sorted at a rad place, but if its old age then one bit of rust means more from within so tread carefully as the rad will be near the end of its life. Used rads are cheap enough and available easily, I would just grab another for teh cost of the fix of this one really...
