sounds like you need to check your float heights right after a bit of reading about i think i need to set my float heights!i was playing around with the floats when i cleaned carbs out hence fuel pissing oua overflow so i probably bent the 'tang' on float a bit.soooooooooooo whats the fools(thats me!) proof way of doing this right?

undo the single screw on the bottom of the float bowl, somehow jam a piece of clear tube in the threaded hole, pass the tube up the side of the carb fill the carb with petrol the fuel should travel up the pipe to within +/- 1mm of the float bowl gasket face, i had the same crack with mine

undo the single screw on the bottom of the float bowl, somehow jam a piece of clear tube in the threaded hole, This is probably the most accurate way, but you can just connect the pipe to the overflow outlet, its not required, and as you leave the drain screw undone, will be at the same level as the petrol in the bowl?
