does anyone know the maximum I can offset the chain-run by on a 4L0 without having to modify the frame in any way?
Im fitting an FZR400 rear-wheel (140 section tyre on a 4 inch rim).
its looking like there wont be too much juggling to get it in amazingly! (if my initial measurments were nearly right)
ALex.

Fitted to my 4L0 I have a 140/70 x 17" tyre on a 3.5" wide rear wheel with a 9mm offset front sprocket so you should not have too many probs. OEB

what does offset mean?and what is the pupose of it? If you fit a wider rear wheel it moves the chain out so your front & rear sprockets won't line up so you fit a offset sprocket to correct this. Talon make these in various different offsets This one I'm fitting to my hybrid is 6mm offset.
