Guys,
Noticed when the rear wheel is in place there is play in the rear sprocket , is this normal. You can lift the rear sporcket not by much but there is some play. Do I need new cush drive rubbers or can anyone suggest something to stop the movement. I thought about packing the rubber cush drives.

Mine was the same on both 250 and 350lc, I lived with it as it never felt slack enough to be dangerous, but replacement is available and probably best for £40.

i bought a zxr 750 a few years ago and they were packed out with strips cut from an old inner tube, ran it for nearly 3 years like this with no problems but if you really want peace of mind best to replace them.

Thinking of my last post,my 250 had 350 rear wheel fitted after previous owner put original under a car. Got a feeling that the 250 didn't have cush drive......pretty sure.
