nwby with gearbox question..

Hi, I am just about to start rebuilding a 4LO that I received in 7 large boxes.

my question is about the gearbox......

I have also got a complete (ish) 4l1 bottom end, and the gearbox is completely different - is that right?

the 350 has 3 selectors and the 250 has 4??

is this right?

(sorry my manual is obviously being delayed by the crap weather - funny how credit-card bills are always on time though!!)

LC`s have 3 ?

4LO and 4l1 gearboxes are the same mate. Exactly the same.

thats what I thought!

ok I will get a piccy of the 250 one and see if any of you can identify it.
