I Take it they are both supposed to be the same length ...... One Has obviously had some welding done in the past ........

i have a set like this too hahahahah .... cant remember which side is the short one though, i'm gonna have to dig them out of the garage now and have a look

BUGGER..... just dug mine out of the garage and its the same side mine came in a job lot of bits with a small flange opposite side and i managed to get a matching small flange pipe at a jumble at a steam fair... wonder if this was some kind of half 'rsed attempt at home tuning in the early80's ideas anyone? ?

i meant cutting a pair down Chris lets face it we all knew they went faster without baffles......
ok.... thats not really true but they sounded faster and upset plod and the neighbours more and knackered the crank too

Racers used to gut the pipes and remove the double skin/less weight/more noise/supposed to make the pipe run cooler/ I've heard of them being shortened, but I assumed it was on th edownpipes to get peak revs up a little. Ex race pipe I would have said, bet it weighs less than the untouched one
