hi guys im about to fit my carbs to my 350lc my questions are as follows,has im using standard airbox fitting carbs into inlet rubbers then airbox rubbers is always tight am i doing this wrong not sure any tips please?also length of carb overflow pipes i take it the two bowl drain off pipes are long enough to go through the clamp central at rear of engine any help please greatly appreciated nigel

thanks butchers will try that is it a good idea to warm airbox rubbers in hot water just to soften them up a tad more also length of overflow pipes please

i do mine a different way and i can have the carbs off and on again in a matter of minutes! fit airbox rubbers to airbox and loosley hang clips, then reverse the carbs into the airbox rubbers until the front clears the reed block rubbers then just push the carb forwards, leave clips loose so you can rotate the carb a little bit to make it easier to get the slide in. simple ;D

I heated my rubbers in a bowl of warm water when i fitted them earlier this week to keep my fingers warm if nothing else.

thanks for all advise i have them fitted but need to get me a couple of pipe holders for bottom of carbs may have to make some.cheers nigel
