Your right butchers. Ain't a hybrid unless anything that can be changed is changed.
Electrics.............ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh........
I was lucky enough to have a running donor 31k for mine so eveything should work.......erm....i hope.
31k coil, stator and recifier are the same as 4L0/1, cdi different. Loom obviously different to run ypvs servo.
31k electrics like coil, cdi, stator are NOT interchangable with F1/2 stuff.
All i can say is GOOD LUCK
P.S. Norbos bike looks sweet....lucky f**ker....

Servo is the correct item but don't pay that much, I may well have one in the garage. Loom, either buy a 31K loom or modify the existing to suit, just remember that the stator, rotor and CDi are all linked; connection wise, you can make anything work but its not plug and play. You'll need the carbs too.

1) You only need to supply (DIY) a 5 wire bundle from the PV controller to the Servo motor It's a separate bundle and you don't need to attack the 4lo harness. Unless you feel the need :-) Find/fit a few new connectors as needed (Molex work and are V easy to source) 2) Same rectifier in a 31k 3) 4lo CDI is usable with the 4lo flywheel stator ONLY. But it's a low performance setup. Find use a 31k Flywheel/stator/cdi unit , 52 y 50 is ideal 4) EXUP Servo from a wrecked up to 2007(?) Yama FRZ1 is identical to the ancient Valvie ones (except for the connector) and very inexpensive on Ebay. (new-ish bits are always Nice) 5) 4l0 Carbs work/fit Fine... for 26mm ones.

The best way to do tghis is is with everything YPVS if you have it if you dont may be gaz can mod your loom . the extra stuff you will need is a YPVS CDI Stator plate and fly wheel servo and ypvs controld box .

The one I'm doing up already had power valve engine in. Going to keep it pretty much standard apart from that. Norbo what air filters are you using? I read somewhere that anything but standard airbox could cause problems. Are yours ok?
