Currently in the middle of refurbing my forks - new bushes, seals & cir clips to be fitted after I've finish polishing to hopefully what will be a half decent mirror finish. But still haven't decided on what oil to use . I know the manual says 10w-30 engine oil, but been thinking on the lines of a fully synthetic 10w fork oil - has anyone used this stuff, and was it any good .

Just done the fork seals on my LC2 and refilled with 253ml of 10w Yamalube fork oil per leg which seems about right for me. Tone.

Dunno .. 15 w is pretty well as thin as one should go in these forks. Try the 15w and you won't be switching back :-)

Cheers for the advice chaps, think I'll go for the heavier stuff - 15w fully synthetic instead of the 10w stuff - give the old girl a treat .
