i want to put on my swingarm i bought of norbo onto my 4lo.would it be ok to put a couple blocks timber under the exhaust to lift back end up off ground without damaging the exhaust so i ca fit it???i dont really wana take of exhausts as there nice and sealed at the heads ect ect ive no main stand or no way of hanging it outa ceiling............... tips ect welcome chaps

I wouldn't rest it on the exhausts, likely to dent them A tip I read on here was to screw some long bolts through the footrest hangers, probably the rears would be easiest and lift it onto axle stands.

right chaps will try bolts in hangers first and then if all fails will take microns off,thanx

right chaps will try bolts in hangers first and then if all fails will take microns off,thanx have u seen my homemade stand in my 250lc hybrid had it on this a few times it rests on exhausts n caused no damage whatsoever

i made a 'abba' type stanad at work that locates in the hole of the footrest hangers and picks up the bike just fine, i made one for my rgv as well and my gixxer when i had it. they are good because with the use of a trolley jack as well you can get both whells safley of the floor.
