So, this morning I go out to my car and had to have a double take . In the not too distant past some w*nker has clouted the passenger side wing with enough force to leave a sizeable dent and smash the side indicator which is now hanging out on its wires It won't have happened outside the house cos it's not on the road and it's rarely left anywhere. Without doubt is was the end of last week in Tesco car park and you can bet your house on it that it was one of those Mum's who can't drive for toffee, driving either a people carrier or 4x4 that's WAY TOO BIG for their driving abilities !!!. Wouldn't it have been nice to find a note clipped under the wiper blade saying "sorry I hit you car by accident, here's my number to contact me and I will of course pay for the damage I have caused". NOT A CHANCE !!!!. Rant over ;D ;D

Yep, those is the ones . This area is littered with schools and the Mums just park anywhere that will avoid them having to walk an inch further than they have to. You see em parked on Paths, Zig-Zag lines, across people's driveways, double parking and block the road, you name it !. Ha ha ha..... ;D

Slightly off topic but wot I wonna know is why kids can't get about themselves these days ?. Or is it the threat of pedos or something ?. I never in 11 years of going to school was taken by car and neither was any other mate. In-fact I don't ever remember a single time when anyone was brought to or collected from school by parents in a car. Even my brother who went to school 9 miles away for 5 years on the trot used to cycle to the nearest train station and get the train . Why is it that no kid can get to school themselves these days ?, and then they get home from school and sit on the Playstation or computer for hours on end. And people wonder why we are turning into a FAT nation. Except Dani, sorry I mean 6 stone Mellow..... ha ha ha ;D ;D

In the defence of 4x4 drivers, we own a 7 seater Nissan Terrano that my wife uses most days to do the "school run" BUT she is a childminder and she usually takes 4 kids to school every day (yes i know that is only 5 out of seven seats used the other two are taken up by 2 twin 3 year old boys that she looks after) We need a 4x4 because we tow a twin axle caravan and a trailer to transport my suzuki 4x4 to offroad events, so any thing other than a 4x4 would not carry out the tasks we expect of it. My wife hates being "tarred with the same brush" as the people who take just 1 child to school in there big 4x4. She is a very conrident driver and can park the Terrano better than me ! she also double drives with me at the 4x4 events and 99% of the time she comes home with a trophy ! She is saving 4 cars going on the school run by using a 4x4. Anyway thats me done, Regards John
