Sounds like the thread has stripped on the plug or in the sump if it loosens when you tighted it more ? .

Well if it's the plug you need a new plug, if it's the sump then you need to get the thread helicoiled or drilled and re-tapped the next size up !!!. You could as a temporary measure try and wrap the plug with a little ptfe tape. It can be a little trial and error with the amount of ptfe tape, too much and it'll be too tight to screw in, too little and it'll still feel a little loose and won't seal. The correct amount should make the plug just tight enough in the thread to screw right in and stop the oil even getting to the plug washer. Done it a few times over the years myself but only as a temporary measure . Who said bodger !!!! ;D

If you mean that when tightened it then loosens the thread sounds knackered and will need heli coiling. You can do this youself.Find out the thread size and pitch (did have quick look but could not find)then you can get set from e bay or Uni thread (in Motorcycle mechanics) or take to good motorcycle shop for repair.

Better off taking it to a competent mechanical type. If you are really not sure of the concept you could make matters worse.
Better to play it safe.
