Can anyone recomend a seat recovering service for my yama...... ok ok, i'll come clean..... for my old Triumph cheers.... Andy

Thanks for that Butch, I have just spoke to them and they tell me they have a 3 week back log, but thats ok cos as you can see its not ready for the road yet. Around the 60 quid mark for a seat dont seem bad to me so Im gonna take it in next week. Andy

Glad I'm not the only 1 with an old Triumph as well as LCs
T140V myself, I know which side I like my gearchange.

Lovely job butch, great colour too. Turns out my seat is the wrong one. It fits on the hinges but is about 4" too short, showing an unsightly gap between the front of the seat and the tank The old girl aint giving up here charms easily. Shes fighting me all the way for every nut, bolt, washer and gromet.

Glad I'm not the only 1 with an old Triumph as well as LCs T140V myself, I know which side I like my gearchange. I love anything with 2 wheels and an engine really, Im not bikeist. Makes you think when you are working on these old bikes that the basic layout and design of a bike hasnt really changed much over the years and that the Edward Turners of this world kinda got it right first time round.
