im running k + n stle filter(no airbox) chrome microns with norbo's ally cans.engine is on 1.5 oversize and standard.pre-mixing intank
what jets ect shud i be using-ball park? sorry sillly question prob but on the mains jet how do i now wat in using at the momment is the size stamped on it?

Im assuming that you are using 4lo-01 carbs so standard main jet size is 220. For Microns you should be running 230 or 240 main jets. (Plug chop will confirm if running rich or weak at full throttle). The main jets will be stamped on the side of the hex head or on the end depending on make. I cant stress enough how important it is to use Mikuni jets as some jets are marked according to their maximum flow rate and some according to the diameter of the hole that the fuel passes through. So in practice, one manufacturers mark of 220 will not be the same as another's 220 when fitted. I believe this to be the problem experienced when fitting "Keyster" Jets to your carbs (That and the fact that i have had the heads of the main jets shear off when tightening them up leaving the threaded part stuck in the bottom of the needle jet). Quality! Allens Performance Ltd in Nottingham can supply genuine Mikuni jets and float valves. you will need to jet up further with the premix as well!!!! id go for 260's with premix.....better still fit the airbox!!! this has been proven to be the best way to run lc's the pods can cause set up problems.... oh no..... this shud be good ;D ;D

right im getting into this jetting craic ;D i have ordered 240 and 260 main jets off norbo,anyone know what position the clip should be in ??
also im running br8es plugs now ive heard they shud be b8es's?any idea anyone is there a big difference in these two plugs??
