Went to do my weekly start on lc with 31k engine. No neutral light ! Started as normal. Lights were did when reved and flickering bright when ticking over. Took side panel off and battery had been leaking cos the bolt that holds strap on was all furey from acid. Took battery off, it was a bit wet on top and levels were low. Connected to charger and its dead. It was a new battery when I baught it a year ago. sounds like it fryes bhe batttery, I am sure I checked charge rate after engine rebuild

must say i got mine from mds last time.half the price for genuine yuasa battery than local shops and next day delivery a battery should be charged about once a month at least.and MUST be fully charged before fitting to bike. there is a video on yausa's site about all this

Fully charging a battery doesnt stop it frying. The sells just give up. Mine boiled to death. Thats a good price

I have never heared of one boiling on a bike you may have a short or something . sounds strange that .
But i have some soled cell ones in now £25 they have %20 more cranking power so should be good and wont boil over becourse they are a solid cell battery .
But just as a note to everyone in the winter if your bike is standing in a freezing sjhead remover the battery and put it in side the cold will kill the cells.
