I HAVE A STD AIRBOX ON MY 4LO JUST WANT TO TRY POD FILTERS IF I REMOVE RUBBER CONNECTION FROM AIRBOX TO CARB WILL THEY FIT IN. OTHERWISE A PAIN IN REMOVING AIRBOX. JUST WANT TO KNOW IF THE BIKE WILL BREATH BETTER. ANY ADVICE

I would say that the general rule (after reading many posts on the forum and from personal experience) is that if you are running a tune/pipes/carbs etc then your bike will run better with pods. Also, if your bike is running rich (but when you lean out power is lost) then you can try running pod filters.
Some people just like the look/sound.
On my 125 I have tried using a pod filter with the air box still on (lid and element removed) and it was allot louder but I just couldn't get it jetted right.
The key is trial and error, but playing with a possible lean mixture it will most likely end up being an error (plug chop after any modification to the engine).
Main thing is, if it is producing a nice plug chop colour and runs well then my advice is don't change it.

They will fit inside the box part left after removing the rubbers but i would remover the top box from under the tank as well . And dont forget to up jet 1 and ajust the oil pump a turn as well . do a plug chop as well after all this befor you go out and use it .
