I had a FS1E when I was 16, can remember vividly my birthday, end of December, freezing cold but nothing was going to stop me going out on it at midnight !!!. Sadly haven't been able to find my original bike so restored this one instead, and it is sooo much fun !!!

My Brother took the pic with a Canon 35mm and I scanned it in about 5 years ago on my computer with an old flatbed scanner It can't have been an expensive camera cos he was at Uni at the time and the folks didn't have much cash either

I had a DT50M in 1979 for my 16th birthday, it was a 1978 bike in white. I found this picture taken the same year when my parents took me to Dave Taylors trial park in Dartford where I had a go on the same bike.......

Haven't been on any of the runs as yet but one day hopefully

First was an ER50 with Original derestricted fast 50 kit on it, went really well... til some bird pushed me into a motorway bridge at full chat. The insurance money bought be an MT50 and that started something... I built lots of MT and MB's over the years. Swapped lots of engines (did all the different upgrade kits like Autissa 65cc and the 70s, but shyed away from the 125 big bore kit i found to fit the standard cases!) and parts about to make a nice disk braked MBX wheeled MT5, also an MT supermoto with MB wheels, MBX dash (with rev counter conversion) and H100 engine and home made pipe, long side panels, jacked up suspension etc most of those parts were from Holland, where they loved those bikes, but the best MB zorst was the allspeed imho... power wheelies with a 65cc kit, honda racing head and standard carb with derestricted crab rubbers. Sold the last of my MB/MT projects when I left the UK in 2005, most of them went to a guy up Newcastle way, I had a shed full of nos and spare parts...
Good to see a ZR50... havent seen one for years... my mate had one and I crashed it outside the chippy showing off to some girls when i was 17... ooopss...
