I am trying to lift off the offside barrel but it is refusing to budge. I am just about pulling the bike off its stand!
I have removed the cylinder head and carb, disconnected the power valves at the centre joint and removed the four retaining nuts from the flange of the barrel. That's it, isn't it?
Any tips for lifting the bugger off?

Obviously the exhausts are off I'd get a block of wood and use it as a drift and tap around the under edge of the exhaust port.

Rubber mallet job trying to rock it off. Steve.

Yep, the exhausts are off and it's not nipped up.
I'll try all your suggestions. Thanks.

Update[/u]
The hairdryer did the trick.
I warmed the barrell around the base gasket, gave it a tug and off it popped.
Thanks ;D
