HI, the 2 stroke oil light on the my 1984 RD350LCII stays on with the neutral light. Goes off when a gear is selected.
Any one know how to test the sendor in the tank, or have any other pointers.
Cheers

Not sure how to post photo's, the photo's i've got are larger than 1,024Kb. I'll sus it out then post em.
All the plastics and tank are painted ready to go on. But just wanted to make sure every thing is sorted before fitting them. Don't want to damage the paint.
I thought the oil light was supposed to come on and then fade?
The bike was a bit ruff when i got it, most things didn't work on it! I have done a lot more to the bike than i planned. You change one thing on it, it makes the thing beside it look naff. All of a sudden the frame is away getting powder coated so every thing needs attention!

stick it in gear - not running pull sender out of oil tank to allow float to drop to bottom light should come on

Thanks for your help guys, nowt wrong with it, am just paranoid!
I took it out of the tank, cleaned it up, stuck it in gear, turned the sendor upside down and light stays off. Turned it right way up light goes on.
On a mates F2 the light comes on then fades, thought mine would be the same.
Cheers
