Progress on the mini my mate cutting off the front end Progress on the front end removal! Waiting for the flip front end instructions to arrive before working out how much of the inner wing I'm taking off!

get in there! have a great soft spot for the mini,s whats your plans for her apart from the flip front? seen a one at croft with the z cars conversion yam r1 engine back wheel drive i bet there balistic

get in there! have a great soft spot for the mini,s whats your plans for her apart from the flip front? seen a one at croft with the z cars conversion yam r1 engine back wheel drive i bet there balistic a bloke up the road from me has a z cars conversion mini with a hyabusa engine rear mounted and atcualy looks as if it could have left the austin factory like that as the build quality is so good its got sequential gears that looks a bit like a automatic gear stick and a button for reverse that engages a second starter motor,ive never seen it being thrashed but can imagine it goes well aswell

id try find a low milage 1300 metro for a donor car or even a 1.3 injection a series engine out of a late mini cooper (classic shape). i bet this little project could get expensive pretty quick

carlos all my engine is back give me a couple of days for the m.o.t and to build it i will drop you the carb off and give you a hand with this beast if you need it ;D

The boot floor was repaired with a patch stuck on with bathroom sealant, then a skim of filler over the top!

You got your work cut-out there mate, they were rot-boxes when we had them as youngstered back in the early to mid eighties I had one with a 1300 Allegro engine fitted, flip front, was red with a white roof and had Carlos Fandango wide wheels (does anyone remember them ?. - search it on the web if not ;D) ;D ;D ;D Oh and it still got rinsed off the lights by just about everything
