Hi All,when replacing the two center bearings on the crank (250lc)do you press them on so they touch the lab. seal or is there a clearence figure?

Its not a diy thing. It has to be pressed by a press and balanced

Its not a diy thing. It has to be pressed by a press and balanced Yep apreciate that and would also say the same except I have access to presses and all the equipment thats needed to build it myself,it took twelve (12) tons to push the center pin out of the crank using a hydraulic/electric press

Just had a look in a genuine manual and it doesn't give a figure. Remember that on the LC and powervalves the centre section isn't splined like the aircooled RDs and you will need a jig to make sure it is timed exactly 180 degrees apart. Tone.
