Stripped the barrels to have them powder coated fitted new seals and now they leak. What can I do to cure this? Castle seals or O rings and did you check the play in the bushes? Steve.

Castle seals and o rings, didn`t check bushes as it didn`t leak before. Difficult to tell now rebuilt, are the outers the orange ones or the black rubber ones that come with gasket sets. Black ones crap. Some people use some clear silicone sealer on the outside of the bush to seal it into the barrel and stop movement, had to do it on one of mine as the bush had been moving back and forth cause of a crap retainer plate, fitted NK ss ones as they are thicker. You would have to strip it to check the bushes, it's amazing what a few years of sticky oil crud seals up. Steve.

It's something about having the seat rebuilt due to wear, but I can't find it!

It's something about having the seat rebuilt due to wear, but I can't find it! Basicly means you have to replace the bushes cause they are worn. 2 inside ones most important as they usually wear first and the outers can be changed without stripping the motor. £30 each. Steve.
