is it normal for a rd125lc to have a 4l1 oil pump fitted? reason i as is ive been looking through some spares that i removed from my old 125lc and its just occured to me that it was running a 4l1 (250lc prefix) oil pump before i converted it to premix, perhaps its normal but i just though it would of had a pump with the prefix 12a

yes i would expect a 250/350 pump to have 2 outlets, mines got 1 inlet and 1 outlet, perhaps its just been cobbled up out of a 125lc pump with a 350 pully or something hence 4l1 marking and 1 outlet

Dunno about the 125 pump, but 350 pumps have a yellow dot and 250 pumps have a red dot. It says 4L1 on all of them so that doesn't matter at all.
