i have a tired looking lc250 in need of some TLC and although i can do a few basic jobs i may need to ask for some advice and been told this i the place to ask,
so here goes 1st quetions lol
can anyone recomend anywhere south yorkshire area where i can get a rebore? bike runs ok but my mate recons i have low compresion on my right pot?, i am hoping to just get away with a new set of rings a she runs ok.
also looking at a posible respray if fund allow can anyone recomend anywhere local to me that wont rip me off and do a tidy job with a few week turnaround,
and last but not least my mate recomended a decal kit but i would rather the decals were sprayed on then laquered,
any advice appreciated

welcome to the site m8 you will get alot of help from the lads on here. 1st i don't know about your rebore as i'm in the midlands but norbo know's a very good sprayer and theres a thread on here with some pic's and looks like he does an exellent job,not sure if he sprays decals on tho but gaz uses dream machine and they spray the decals on but would be more expensive i spose .

thanks scott i am just finding my feet on here so am exploring at the moment, if i have stick on decals can i still get them laquered and not get any problems?? i am thinking of maybe going back to standard colours as the paint at the moment looks like its a rattle can special,
have heard of dream machine but know they will be far more exspensive than my budget will allow, my mate had a marlboro spray done there some years ago and it was really nice but the dayglo orange colour they used faded quite bad after a few years, mind you did look really smart especially with the full fairing,

Hi mate and welcome . The decals are made to be spraid over mate so theres no problem there . And its a good price for a excelent job. I can do the barrels as well if you like . you will have to post and have them posted back but 2 rebores are £60 pistons for both sides are £80 and post would be £15 insured.
Lets see some picks of the beast then . if your not sure how to post a pic read the please read befor posting thered it tells you how.

thats ok then, do they look good when they are done and what sort of price do you think it will be for tank n pannel sit with decals completed?. as i mentoined i am on a fairly tight budget so will probably drop the parts off myself if thats ok with you and the sprayer, as for the rebore i will let you know when i get the motor ripped apart, as i said i am going to try a ring set 1st n see if that resolves the issue as allthough she isnt pretty to look at she does run nice..
