I want to convert a KPH speedo to a MPH speedo. Changing the face is relatively straightforward (I have a spare from a scrap MPH speedo), but obviously the counter will measure KM travelled and not miles travelled.
Has anyone done this, and is there any trick to correct the distance travelled issue ie a different speedo drive in the wheel hub or adjustment to the speedo internals ?
Cheers

No trick to convert unfortunately, why can't you get a MPH speedo? and if you can't is there any point in replacing the KPH face with an MPH one?

Thanks guys.
Reason for the question is that I have a spare set of clocks with a KPH speedo off a German bike. I also have a scrap MPH speedo which has the had the internals mashed with shattered glass but the face is still serviceable.
If there had been a quick fix then I would have been able to use the KPH internals with the MPH face.
The convertor looks good but is a bit of overkill. MPH speedos are difficult to get, unless anyone has a spare they want to sell or trade.
