Hi I've just bought a 1988 TZR125 and the handlebar has a visible rearwards bend. So I got another one and it too is bent by exactly the same amount and in the same place. Seems mighty odd. Do they come like this? I notice that the clutch lever is also bent downwards but have found that they are meant to be like that. Help appreciated.

LOL yes the clutch levers are dog legs are are meant to be like that . but it does seem these days that all the drops are bent . they are week and everytime a 125 falls over they bend . its real hard to get a straight one these days .

the bars may be easy to bend but they are certainly putting up a good fight resisting be straightened - I am waiting for the securing allen bolt to shear. If you say they should be straight then I will persist with the assault...

You need to heat the bars up to straighten them. Ive had bars straightened by a proper firm cost couple of quid job done
