Hi all, I unfortunately need to part company with my lc that I have owned for over 10years! As I have had it so long I have no idea of how much realistically it is worth. It’s a matching number lc2 in Kenny Robert’s colour that had a frame up restoration just before I bought it and I’ve only done about a thousand dry miles on it.Is there anyone that I could contact that could give me a rough valuation please any help would be appreciated Many thanks Gav. The market has changed massively in the last couple of years. My best guess, assuming you have all the receipts for the work done, would be between £6250 and £8000 on a really good day.

If its a UK bike with no pattern parts and everything as it should be in really nice condition I'd still say £8k if you wait for the right buyer

It's a lovely bike, but, in my opinion because its not fully stock eg paint colour, exhausts, missing centre stand, then maybe around £7.5k in todays market, which is difficult to predict at the moment, but its definitely a buyers market at mo. GLWTS. Shaun

The market is virtually non-existent at the moment at anything above £6k and even then you'd have to find that possibly one person out there who wanted exactly that non-standard bike. I'd say at maybe £5.5k you'd get some interest but maybe not sell even at that. Sorry, I'm not putting it down in any way but this is a market where some once hot classics like a 60's Bonnie have halved. The general type of people who want a 350 YPVS will want a 350 YPVS.

Restored UK matching number LC2 in the same colours sold for £7k in May this year. German import F1 sold for £5500 this month. I would say £6500 would not be an unreasonable ask, depends on how quick you want to sell it.

The TSA pipes are a nice addition, the paint looks good (from the photo) but you would need someone who specifically wants a "Kenny", much of the market wants as standard as possible.
I'd say you tentatively advertise it at £6995 to test reaction, you might realise £6500, but it's a tough market at the moment and if you really want to sell, you might have to be prepared to take around £5000 to £5500.

I'd say £6500.

A lot of wise commentary here and it seems to be settling around the £6500 mark.
I personally see two scenarios:
1. If it’s as decent as it looks and you fancy a Kenny then £6-6500 seems fair enough. I’d view the pipes as a bit of a bonus.
2. If it’s as decent as it seems from the photos but the paint scheme isn’t to your taste then some hard bargaining and a trip to your favoured painter will see you a potentially good bike
Side note: There are at least 4 LCs of varying types all north of £10k on Autotrader just now.
You pays your money, you takes yer chances…

There's a very hard ceiling at the moment which is possibly less than imagined. You just never know though

Probably around 6-6.5k given that the resto was over 10 years ago now.
If you are not in a rush, try 7k and see how it goes.
It only takes one person that loves the factory US paint scheme and wants top notch pipes, too.
FWIW, I sold my refreshed US 48H RZ350 Kenny for 7k last year.
Good luck!

If its EB your looking at, beware of the fees. Auction is massively expensive now for vehicles, try a Classified add and allow offers. think its £19.99 to list. List on here for free

I think Gumtree is free - it was last time I sold a car.
You will unfortunately have to put up with what I’ve come to call the ‘tw8t tax’ - the hassle of dealing with all the bottom feeders, scammers and general lowlifes.
As said, selling on here is a better option as you are dealing with people who’ve at least had to put a bit of effort in to be able to see the For Sale posts.

List on here for free Ebay is getting daft. I sold something on there recently, the total including post was £18.03, I got £15.36, so you need to factor in losing 15% of the end of auction sale price including postage, cos they nick some of that too, the robbing bar stewards.

I used www.carandclassic.co.uk to sell a bike a few years back. Was free and no idiot tax. I've used Facebook marketplace to sell some stuff in recent years, in preference to ebay fees, but by f**k do you get exposed to some right idiots.
