Hello all you tiddlers!
I bought a PW80 a month back. It started with choke and ran only on choke with a smidge of throttle. I removed the carburettor and took out the squirrels and gave it a good sonic cleaning. The carb seemed allright but spark went missing... so much for that. The charging coil had gone bad and I ordered a new one from USA. It finally arrived and I got spark but no run. I got the bugger to run for a couple of seconds of brake cleaner but otherwise it just bangs out of the exhaust with a bunch of smoke attached to the intermittent noise.
Do you have any idea what the heck could be the problem? I have resistor plugs as per service manual and original type resistor sparkplug cap. I usually get these things running in short time but this is making me cry. I wonder if it could be the CDI since it ran for a couple of seconds.

Never mind. The seller didn't know that the PeeWee is infact 2004 and not 1995. The sparepart charging coil I bought was of the wrong polarity and I just flipped it around. The ignition advance was way off.
