Dear friends, I will get my new project F2 Monday and am just trying to plan exactly what I need to spend on it. It's 1988 and has what I believe to be a genuine 25k on the clock. I have most clear in my mind but I'd assume that it would need a new rear shock or can they be restored? standard handling is great for me. If I need to buy what is good value?

Sorry, realise now that there is only one option if the shock isn't good and that is replace it. Is it possible that a 1988 F2 has a decent shock on it still?

Hagon do one too but I'd choose yss
If the damper rod isn't corroded and it isn't leaking oil it will work
Just may be a little soft bouncy

Oh, but the rubber bump stop will most likely have perished and fell off

OK, now for something different. Where best can I get a poorly covered seat re-upholstered? Fairly common?
