Hi all,
Is there anyone that knows if the 31k YPVS gear box and primary drive / clutch would fit the RD 350 air cooled crankcases?
Kickstarter, oil pump, tacho drive etc. are no issues as it is a track bike.

I doubt it as YPVS gearbox is wider than 4L0.

YPVS box is worth at least as much as an AC one even the rare ones so should be too difficult to swap or sell/buy

air cooled boxes use 4 selector forks, YPVS only have 3, so a definate no, plus the 5mm wider issue !

two wheel spares (D&K Motorcycles in Stoke on Trent) have got a couple of AC 'boxes listed on the 'bay, selling your YPVS ones would cover the cost of one of those if they're any good.
I'd be interested in a YPVS 'box as a spare and I'm sure others here would too.
