Hi all Trying to get the connectors out of the block so I can get a bit of heat shrink on the damaged rubber bit:  Can't for the life of me see how they are clipped in - even with a magnifying glass.  I actually broke one of the wires in the process  Any help here greatly appreciated. David |

I got a set of the tools which you insert to pop the tang up on the more common bullets and blades, i think there are some which are circular that slide over the individual connector.. just nipped out to the garage to check and ... i can't find them.. could someone point me in the direction of the "safe place.."

The problem when releasing any connector is that the barb has usually dug in or is tight against the end face of the receptacle
When you push the tool in it puts more pressure unto the barb
Once you get the removal tool over the pin pull back slightly then use something to push the connector in the direction it is fitted in to take the pressure off the barb then wiggle the extraction tool
Sometimes they just won't come out

Also ordered a replacement grommet and some crimp terminals from Rex's speed shop. In the event I can't get them out and / or break the connector block in the process, I can get the 3-connector block from Kojaycat, as has been pointed out. The 4-connector block though? Rex's has this, which sort of looks right: www.rexs-speedshop.com/product/yazaki-4-way-female-connector/Thoughts on that? If push comes to shove I could get the opposing male connecter for the loom. It has to fit through the hole in the casing best get the right one
