Hi all: I have the attached speedometer/Tachometer that came off a 2015 Kawasaki 650 Versys. Couple of questions: A) Will I be able to get the speedometer working since the RD350 rim size is 18" and the Kawi is 17"? If not, what is required to get it working? B) What type sensors/adaptors etc. I need to buy? Has anyone done this mod? Thanks in advance. Cheers, Daza

Falls into the category of all this are possible , some not easy…
1. Mph…. You need not only to transplant or replicate compatibly the pick-up system , but also correct the speed error of the tire diameter difference ( or just ignore the 6% error and add on in your head… some of us could do that easily other not maybe..) alternatively just know that the speed thresholds would actually be the absolute threshold limits .. Ie 70 mph shown , would be actually more like 75 mph so not going to be picking up speeding points..
2. Revs, same again, you need to know what data steam the 650 generates and create in some way…
Overall, since you are asking the question I’m guessing you won’t be coding a raspberry Pi and building a pick-up circuit…..
Conclusion… It’s a nice looking display but if you want something similar it would be cheaper to use a GPS Kosco unit and an off the shelf pickup for a twin 2T..
