I understand two strokes are low temp combustion = low NoX.
Anyone actually got ULEZ ok, with a 1980 version?
Did you do any mods? Where did you go? Can you recommend anyone for the test?

Just register your bike as 'historic' in the taxation class at the post office and your bike will be ULEZ compliant, plus free tax and no MOT required!
Your bike will qualify as it is over 40 years old!

The last one I did still shows up on the TFL ULEZ check as payable, a year after getting historic status.
Not ridden in the zone to see what happens, even though it should be exempt.

TFL can be slow and in accurate with their details. Mine showed I should also pay congestion charge, which motorcycles have never paid. If your historic just ignore what their site says.

I've been waiting to see the results from the London election before paying £175 to get my bike tested, as the zone could be reduced if Putin from Tooting doesn't get back in.

I’m in a similar situation with my non ULEZ car. The mot runs out on election day. I’m going to wait and see what happens as I may not have to pay ULEZ ?
